Estate
Bateleur Estate is the result of research done by local developers about a lifestyle estate for active retirees. This led to the search for suitable land with ideal climatic and topographic conditions. Great consideration was given to the incorporation and conservation of the natural environment, and the result is a 200 ha state with open spaces and undeveloped green areas. Here the excisting fauna and flora thrive against the backdrop of a typical and breathtaking Lowveld landscape where eagles soar freely and small game graze undisturbed.

Climate
Nelspruit is situated in the fertile valley of the Crocodile River, 330 km east of Johannesburg. It is also the largest town in Mpumalanga, as well as being the capital of the province. One of the biggest drawcards of Nelspruit is the beautiful surroundings and subtropical climate.				Mild minimum winter temperatures are seldom less that 6ºC, ideal for outdoor living and activities. Hot summer days are normally cooled down by thunderstorms in the late afternoon, and as Bateleur Estate is situated at 950 m above sea level, some 350 m higher than the city itself, it is therefore at least 3ºC cooler than in the capital.

The ideal climate and altitude of Bateleur Estate provides residents with various lifestyle choices to brighten up every day. New friendships can be forged and old ones nurtured...				New facilities will be added to the Estate during futher phases based on the demand from residents and sustainability. Safety and Security
Bateleur Estate will feature on completion a high level security management system, which will include: a 1.8m high boundary wall on the perimeter with electric fencing and a gate alert system. This all will ensure the highest level of security measures for residents around the clock.				Communication technology will link each unit directly with the guard house based at the entrance. A temporary electric fence will be erected around each completed phase until completion of the project, whereafter it will be removed.

Modern communication conveniences will be installed at Bateleur Estate based on the demand from the residents.
